Yes, The New Yorker is quite good and has an interesting format where the featured poet actually chooses something from the archives. All of these poets are accomplished and very good at analyzing why a poem works. It is very helpful for those of us “developing” poets who are figuring things out.
Well, hopefully a good contagion! I forgot to mention another event coming up where I have friends who are putting their poetry to music and it is quite local to me. I will have to mention that in the next post I do.
